VORTEX

01 / Origin
A butterfly was only
the starting point.
VORTEX does not arrange 240 decorative butterflies into a chandelier. It studies what happens when directional optical modules become a controlled three-dimensional field: scale changes, density changes, radial flow and the possibility of slow kinetic behaviour.
The composition is meant to be experienced from below, from a stair, across an atrium and while moving around it. No single elevation is the whole object.

Beauty is the presentation.
Evidence is the authority.
The public concept imagery is not allowed to overwrite the fixture record. Geometry, counts, design revision and technical inspection remain available through dedicated product surfaces.
The current fixture record defines architectural vertical scale, not a conventional pendant proportion.
Lighting and suspended-field systems are kept separate so optical intent does not imply unverified photometry.
Presentation revisioning and design authority are deliberately separated in the repository.
02 / Motion language
Motion should be
read before it moves.
A strong VORTEX still needs to communicate direction when frozen. Larger modules establish hierarchy. Smaller modules create acceleration and transition. Spacing defines the spiral more than sheer quantity.
